Explore the excellent fishing opportunities of Playa Flamingo with the experienced crew of Yellowfin III! Captain Dervin Suarez has been fishing the local inshore and nearshore waters for years, which makes him an expert in finding the best spots to land something big.
With his fleet of boats and knowledgeable staff, Capt. Dervin will take you to the best bite and make sure you have a great time aboard his 29’ offshore sport fisher. The vessel can accommodate up to 5 people and have them fishing comfortably, while twin 150 HP Yamaha engines will get you to the fishing grounds quickly and safely.
The boat is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a successful day on the water – quality tackle, fighting chair, live bait well, and outriggers. There’s a private toilet on board, which makes even full day trips comfortable. You can test your hand in different techniques, and use either live bait or lures, depending on what you’d like to target.
When it comes to your prey, there’s a wide array of species you can set your sights on. On shorter excursions, you’ll usually stay in the inshore waters and dedicate your time to chasing Cubera Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and Barracuda.
On full day trips, you can head up to 4 miles from the marina to reach the Brumel or Catalina Islands, and The Sombreros, a rock structure that is the home of some impressive fish. Here, you can go after Jacks, massive Roosterfish (up to 75 pounds), Bull Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and of course, the mighty Tuna. Plenty of fishing action to go around!
When you come back to land, the crew will clean and fillet everything you decided to keep. You’ll have drinks and food on the boat, so all you have to pack is sunscreen and of course, your fishing license.
Join Yellowfin III for a memorable fishing adventure and you’ll always come back for more!
