Two of us fished with Jon Bauer on March 21, 2024. Jon got us on fish quickly. We caught a large variety of fish including redfish, red snapper, amber jack and large bonita. The bonita averaged 12-14 lbs. each. Joh is knowledgeable about where to fish and techniques to catch fish. We were so busy catching fish at our last two locations, that we barely had time to eat a sandwich! I would fish with Jon again when the opportunity arises.

Captain Jon is the best of the best. From the moment we booked, he stayed in constant communication about weather conditions and made sure the day we chose was going to be the best day to go. He made us feel like friends, not customers. This was hands down, the best offshore trip I’ve ever been on, from the conversation with Captain Jon, to the constant fish. He has clearly put in a lot of time and effort into finding the best spots before hand so that every time the boat moves locations, you’re getting different fish but at the same consistent rate. There was not one single dull moment. When we had caught the amount we wanted to eat, we moved onto sport fishing. We managed to catch a 300+ pound Goliath Grouper and a Black Tip Shark. We had countless sharks biting, they fight hard! Captain Jon is with you every step of the fight to offer the best odds of getting them as close to the boat as possible. He has excellent equipment, an awesome boat and years of experience. He utilizes amazing tactics and locations. You will not feel like your fishing with a stranger, Captain Jon instantly feels like a friend and genuinely cares about you having the best possible day he can provide. You will not find a better experience, a better captain or a better way to spend the day. Once he cleans your fish, be sure to take them over to “The Sandbar” to have them cook it up how ver you like and have an excellent meal. My son and I booked with Capt Jon for this near shore trip. We had a great time fishing with Capt Jon. From the start the he had reached out to us prior to the trip with questions about what we were looking for. We got to the boat and everything was all set for the trip. Bait was ready for the fishing trip to start. We got out there and everything came together,lots of fish and sharks. We saw a sting ray jumping, a sea turtle which was a plus. I'd highly recommend this for anyone.

Amazing! Capt Jon was absolutely wonderful! Very informative-highly skilled as we caught a lot of fish and were able to reel in a shark which only made our outing that much more exciting!!!! We will be back!!!!
