Astoria Fishing Charters and Guide Service
Astoria Fishing Charters and Guide Service is all about fishing the stunning waters of the Columbia River.
These seasonal trips specialize in fishing for Chinook Salmon. To catch Chinook, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Any fish you catch are yours to take with you, so long as they meet regulations. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!
Your adventure will take place aboard a 29’ Pic-Nic Welding boat that can accommodate up to 6 guests. The boat is equipped with navigation gear and an ice box. Capt. Jeff has rods and reels for you, along with lures. A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10%–20% tip at the end of the day is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
