Snook, Redfish, Permit, as well as the majestic Tarpon and Bonefish, are all in the cards when you go fishing with Capt. Matt. If you’re looking to hone your fly fishing and light tackle skills, then this charter is the right choice for you.
Freshwater excursions for Asian Carp, Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass, and other native and exotic species in the urban canals of South Florida are also on offer. Capt. Matt also gives fly casting instruction and lessons – these trips are educational and ideal for beginners or young anglers.
Your vessel will be a 16’ Dolphin Super Skiff with a 50 HP Evinrude engine. This classic flats boat can accommodate up to 2 anglers, and is quick and maneuverable on the skinniest of flats, while also handling chop comfortably. Everything you need for a successful day on the water will wait for you on the boat and Capt. Matt will be there to help with everything else.
All of the necessary safety equipment, licenses, and tackle is provided as well as fly rods and spinners. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own equipment. On full day trips, you’ll have light lunch on board, and drinks are provided on every excursion. If you have any food restrictions, please let your guide know in advance.
Kids are welcome to join on your fishing trip, as long as they’re at least 10 years old, so that they can fully enjoy the experience.

Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 7 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the deposit will be charged.
When paying the remaining balance with a credit card, there is a 4% fee.
