Explore the pristine waters of Costa Rica with La Sirenita Sierpe and discover the true meaning of “pura vida!” Captain Greibin Franco was born and raised in Sierpe and he knows all the best spots to put you on fish. He welcomes all skill levels aboard – to catch fish, go for a swim, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Your boat for the day is a 28’ Fibra de Vidrio center console, powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine. She’s equipped with top-quality tackle, safety gear, navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and 2 coolers – one for your catch and the other for drinks. The boat accommodates up to 10 guests and children above the ages of 7 are welcome to join in on the fun.
Capt. Greibin offers fishing trips on the Sierpe River, as well as the Pacific Ocean. His river fishing trip will see you targeting the likes of Bonefish, Jack Crevalle, Snook, and even some Snapper and Grouper species.
Nearshore, you’ll have the opportunity to go after Roosterfish, Mackerel, Barracuda, African Pompano, and Cubera Snapper. His offshore trips are reserved for those deep sea “fin-atics” looking for an exhilarating chase. You’ll target Blue and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Amberjack, and the list keeps impressing!
When it’s time to head back, the captain will offer to clean your catch so you can enjoy a delicious meal as you watch the sunset. After all, there’s nothing better than rewarding yourself after a long, hard-fought battle.
State-of-the-art Penn and Shimano rods and reels are provided on every trip. Snorkeling equipment is available for up to 10 people and it costs an additional $15 per person. The captain’s boat is licensed to cover everyone on board, so just come straight to the pick-up location, bring sun protection, and the rest will be taken care of.
