We’ve had a great day fishing today (19th May 2023). We were picked up from our hotel, taken to the beach and onto the boat. We caught one Wahoo Fish, 3 Mahi Mahi and 1 barracuda. We were able to do a bit snorkelling next to the other boats on the way back which was great, unfortunately we only found a couple of fish as the rest had moved with the tide.
Once we were done we were then taken back to the hotel.
Huge shout out to the captain, his mate and the others who we met along the way they were Friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful. They honestly made our day and we had a great time. Thanks so much!!

The captain and crew did a great job of chasing down what nature provided. We caught several nice Mahi-Mahi (Dolphins); several small yellow tails; and a mucho grando Tuna (51 lbs) . We did have a sailfish hooked momentarily but unfortunately it threw the hook.

The 4’ seas were a bit tipsy but not bad and nobody became seasick.

It was a simple no-frills trip focussed squarely on fishing and we all enjoyed ourselves. Cold bottled water, beer and soft drinks combined with chips and dip were sufficient for our group. (Others may want to bring their own food if they want more than the snacks provided).

Firstly, let me say that the experience was truly amazing! The crew’s knowledge of the area and their expertise in fishing made for an unforgettable adventure. We caught some incredible mahi-mahi and barracuda, which were processed for us on board and tasted absolutely delicious later prepared by our resort.

Captain Francis was an exceptional leader, always providing guidance and advice to ensure we had the best possible experience. His enthusiasm for fishing was contagious, and we could tell that he truly enjoyed sharing his passion with us.

Ariel and Primo were also fantastic first mates. Despite their limited English, they were still able to provide extraordinary service. They were always available to help us with anything we needed, and their attention to detail was impressive. They were knowledgeable about the different types of fish we caught, and were happy to answer any questions we had.

Overall, I would highly recommend this fishing trip to anyone looking for an exciting and memorable experience. Captain Francis, Ariel and Primo were outstanding hosts, and their dedication to providing an exceptional service made our day on the water unforgettable. Thanks again for a great day out on the water!

Great fishing trip, from working with Francisco to the captain & the crew. Worth the trip. The energy from the crew and positivity of catching even on a rough second day due to weather. Highly recommend fishing with these guys. Will for sure be fishing with these guys again in august (2023).

The boat was nice, the crew was friendly, the transportation was on time and the coordinators were all very informative. We caught 4 mahi mahi in a very short timespan. All in all this had the makings of a very pleasant experience. Only one major problem… there were 5-10’ swells the ENTIRE time we were out on the boat. I’ve done a number of open water fishing charters, as have other members of our party. I own two boats and am no stranger to rough waters. This was something else entirely. Everyone in our party took dremamine well before the trip and took additional medication as soon as it started. We weren’t hungover. We weren’t sick from anything else. Within the first 30 minutes the first person in our party got sick and started vomiting. Then another, and another until half the party was vomiting and the rest felt like they were going to. You couldn’t stand or walk without having to hold on for dear life. You couldn’t sit or lay down without becoming overwhelmed by the rocking of the vessel. I strongly feel that the conditions in which we had our charter are NOT suitable for anyone other than professional fishermen that endure these elements every day. Again, I have done this before on numerous occasions and this was FAR WORSE conditions than I’ve ever experienced. After only about 90 minutes of this, we couldn’t take it anymore and asked to be taken back. Some of the people in our party felt nauseated for hours afterwards. It’s a hell of a story, but honestly it was a pretty traumatic experience for some of our party and probably discouraged them from ever fishing open waters again. Anecdotally, when we got back to the hotel we learned that a number of other charter companies had cancelled all of their bookings for that day and the following day. This was disappointing because I sincerely feel that our booking should have been postponed or refunded due to the water conditions. I really want to give this company a good review because, again, the boat, crew, transportation and coordination was all top notch! Captain Francisco was very nice, but they seemed completely unbothered by the fact that clearly none of us were having a good time. They did provide a few of the people vomiting with cold water and napkins. Anyway, I would recommend this company to others but make absolutely sure that the waves and water conditions are something you’ll be comfortable with before committing to go out. They will not postpone it for you as I think they should have. So go at your own risk. Also keep in mind you don’t get any refunds for coming back early.
