Spend more time fishing and less time riding! With the speed that Necessity Sportfishing reaches, you’ll fish twice as long as some of the other competitors here in Orange Beach.
Necessity Sportfishing had its beginnings in 1987, when Captain Shane’s ‘day-job’ as a medical doctor limited the time he could devote to catching fish. Committed to pursuing his passion for saltwater fishing, he bought a 36’ Topaz, hired a full-time captain, and started Necessity Charters. Since its inception, this charter has consistently provided an outstanding experience to their customers.
The fishing landscape has changed dramatically over the past few years, with shorter seasons and smaller bag limits. Capt. Shane’s operation and techniques have evolved right along with these changing times and he has never been more excited to put his customers on the fish!
With a variety of fish species in the area, it’s hard to list everything you can catch here. Some of the usual targets are Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Sailfish, Marlin, Yellowfish Tuna, and many more.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered and you don’t have to worry about the licenses. The crew also prepares some soft drinks and cleans your catch after the trip.
Whenever you feel the need to spend an amazing day on the water and get some action going, Necessity Sportfishing is the way to go!
