My wife and I were visiting Vero for the week and wanted to take a half day trip. Jeff is the definition of best in class. He’s a local of Vero and has been fishing these waters for over 30 years and his experience was very clear. We hit our limit on snapper, caught a grouper, multiple snook, and 20+ Jack. Jeff fileted the fish for us and gave great recipe recommendations on how to cook. Not only did we catch a lot of fish, but we had a great time doing it. We will be back to fish with Jeff soon!

This was our first time fishing the Indian River and to be honest I was a little hesitant about booking a trip. The weather was near record hot all week and most reports were saying fishing was slow. Captain Jeff assured us that the snapper and grouper were biting so we decided to book a trip. Captain Jeff had us on the fish all morning long and the action never stopped. Jeff is a true professional. He was very knowledgeable about the river a reading what the fish were doing and why. He worked really hard to make sure that we had bait and lines in the water to maximize our opportunities at catching fish.

First I would like to start by saying Captain jeff was hands down the BEST charter captain I have met out of the 12 charters I have taken. One thing I find is that most captains after chartering for so many years loose the passion for fishing, that was not the case with jeff. He was very organized, professional, and knowledgeable about the area and fishing. Unfortunately we almost didn’t make the trip due to the rain flooding everything and making the bait non-existent. Captain jeff told me it would be best to reschedule if I wanted my best chance. Unfortunately I only had a limited time there so I told him let’s try our luck! The morning started off tough finding bait like he explained before the charter, after a few island hops and some pancakes with the cast net we had all the bait we needed. Captain jeff then not only got me on a few tarpon I even lost a monster red fish and snook! We caught a few other fish as well, overall it was a fun day on the water. The picture you see above are a biproduct of captain Jeff charter as well. I told him we would be fishing Sebastian inlet after the charter. He gave me a few pointers that helped me and my finance land our New PB snook. Great guy and captain if your fishing anywhere in the area I would book captain Jeff in a heart beat. The knowledge you learn alone was worth the money ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

you can’t do any better than jeff (he is a pirate ask him about it). my kids went to a secluded island to catch bait fish and then my 12 year old caught the catch of her life. he is just an all around great person and gave me advice on the local sight seeing attractions for my kids. he even followed up with it later via text to make sure i had the info! when my 8 year old got a little hot and bored he told her to jump in and swim and he accommodated all our interests. you will not be disappointed and looking forward to next year. hey and if you going am….bring him a coke zero i’m sure he will love it! ❤️

Captain Jeff showed my family and I a great time on the water. He came prepared and knew that I had expressed an interest in catching Snook and other species. He got bait fish for that purpose and we were off and running. Very quickly we began to catch all kinds of fish: Snook, Mangrove Snappers, Jacks, Seatrout, Tarpon and Catfish. The highlight of the day was when my son’s girlfriend caught a 40 inch Snook monster. We even had time to try to catch some sharks, several of which we had on the line. Captain Jeff was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend his charter to anyone!
