Bills Sportfishing And Guide Service
If you’re in the San Francisco Bay area then take a day out of checking out the city sights and head out onto the water. Captain Bill Clapp loves to take small groups of people out to search for what lurks in the waters around the bay. With over 30 years of fishing in the area, you’re in safe and knowledgeable hands with Bills Sportfishing And Guide Service.
He owns a 21’ North River Aluminum fishing boat that can accommodate up to 4 people. Originally built in 2006, it’s powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. With this kind of speed, he can take you anywhere. It includes a roof cover to protect you from the sun or the rain as you fish away.
With Captain Bill you can explore the river, the delta, or the bay as the whole water system is within reach. Striped Bass and Sturgeon are his fish targets of choice year-round. He’ll fish the bay once season picks up, where you can target Halibut, Sharks, and Stripers.
All you need to pull them in is provided. Top of the range rods, reels, terminal tackle, live bait, and lures are in his inventory for maximizing your chances of catching some big ones.
Take the basics with you - food, drinks, licenses. If you plan to target Sturgeon then a report card is required along with your license. Bring these things with you and go fishing!
