Explore one of the deepest inshore areas in the Maldives with “Life At Sea Charter”! You’ll head into the Thaa atoll, home to virgin flats and productive deeper waters with Captain Ibrahim. He’s a local pro who loves pelagic fish. Whether you’re a novice or a pro you’re welcome aboard!
You’ll explore the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean aboard a 21’ locally made offshore sport fishing boat. She’s the ideal choice for 4 anglers hoping to fish at the same time. There are plenty of goodies on board including a fighting chair, downriggers, tuna tubes, and a live well. There’s also a portable toilet and a kitchen for you to use.
The Thaa atoll provides some of the most productive fishing in the Maldives. Stay in the bay and explore the virgin flats for Giant Trevally, Permit, Grouper, and Bonefish. Go far enough and you’ll hook Blue Marlin, Wrasse, Dogtooth Tuna, and Mahi Mahi too!
You’ll use a variety of techniques from trolling to jigging and spearfishing! Bring along your fly fishing equipment and you can sight cast in these transparent waters too. Capt. Ibrahim also provides snorkeling equipment for everyone onboard. Jumping into these warm waters is something you do not want to miss out on!
The first mate, or Capt. Ibrahim himself, is happy to clean and fillet any catch you choose to keep. To sweeten the pot even further, you’ll prepare the fish right there and then. It doesn’t get much fresher than that! He’ll also bring along fresh fruit for you to nibble on and a variety of soft drinks and bottled water to keep you going.
Combine the best of what the Maldives has to offer aboard Life At Sea Charter!
