Seminole Wind Charters – 18'
Dreaming of some peaceful backcountry fishing? Seminole Wind Charters can fulfill that for you. Led by Captain Steve, he takes up to 3 people out for personalized trips in the inshore waters around St. Petersburg, allowing you to escape into nature.
The boat is 17.5 Key West Stealth flats boat. This boat is known by many keen fishermen as being perfect for flats fishing as it can get you into the shallow water with no problems. It was restored recently and features a polling platform for more precise navigation and sight fishing.
The targeted species are Redfish, Snook, Cobia, Spotted Seatrout, Shark, and Tarpon. You’ll be using light Penn tackle and depending on the target species will get yourself to grips with spinning, jigging, and bottom fishing. Inshore and nearshore fishing is a true art. The tide’s play’s a big part in the bite the bigger the tide swing, the better the bite, so let’s hope the conditions are just right on the day!
You’ll fish using live bait which is provided for you. As well as that catch cleaning is also included, just be sure to throw in a tip! Your Florida fishing license is also covered so there’s no need to be concerned about that. Bottled water is available onboard so take something else if you prefer as well as some snacks if you’re joining Capt. Steve on a longer trip.
Steve’s waiting and as are the fish. If you’re looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle then book with Steve for some quiet fishing in the beautiful backwaters.
