New Smyrna Beach Ponce Inlet Fishing Charters
Awesome fishing now! Florida Inshore Fishing Charters will take you on an unforgettable trip off the coast of New Smyrna Beach and Ponce Inlet. We have over 45 artificial reefs and wrecks to fish. Captain Drew Cavanaugh has been actively fishing this area since 1980 and there’s not a good spot he hasn’t discovered. Only an hours drive from Orlando and Disney, you’ll find yourself at the Ponce Inlet boat ramp, ready for a catch of a lifetime. This charter is based on good marine weather conditions for a safe fishing trip. If not we can do other types of fishing, please ask about this when we talk to go over directions the day before.
Capt. Drew runs his trips on a 2023 21-foot Pathfinder Bay Boat year round. This bay boat is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and features all necessary navigational gear. There’s a live bait tank, a YETI cooler for your catch/food/drinks, and a wireless trolling motor. The boat accommodates up to 4 guests and kids are welcome too. At certain times 6 people can go, please call/text/email and ask me about this.
Since you’ll go at least 1 to 18 miles offshore, there’s lots of species on your target list. You can go after Red Snapper(when in season), Snook, Tarpon, Cobia, Kingfish, Barracuda, Shark, Tuna, Trigger Fish, Triple Tail, Mangrove Snappers, Lane Snappers and more. If you’re eager to catch as many different species as you can, it’s best to take a full day trip and use your time to the max. The captain prefers to release the fish back but you can keep some of them, conditions apply.
Your fishing equipment, license, and bait are fully covered by the captain. He can also bring fly fishing equipment for you, but make sure to mention it in advance. There’s bottled water on the boat but feel free to bring whatever drinks you prefer and don’t forget some snacks. No glass please.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or this your first time holding a rod, join Florida Inshore Fishing Charters. Captain Drew has a fish for you.
