Join Northern Life Outfitters for an unforgettable day on the water. Captain Leo starts his trips in Winnipeg, where he’ll pick you up and take you to some of the best fishing spots in the area. Sun or snow, you can always take a trip with this guide. The captain runs ice fishing trips in winter, and you can book them on his second listing.
You’ll be fishing on a 16’ aluminum boat that accommodates up to 2 anglers. Powered by a 90 HP Mercury engine and equipped with GPS and fishfinder, this boat will smoothly take you where the fish are.
Lake Winnipeg has bountiful waters, full of different types of fish, so there are lots of species you can land here. Some of them are Northern Pike, Musky, Walleye, Steelhead, Lake Trout, Catfish, Freshwater Drum, and White Bass. After the trip, the catch is all yours to keep and the captain will even clean it free of charge. If you’re saving it for later, make sure to bring your cooler.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered by the captain and he’ll also prepare fresh water for the boat. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license and bring snacks and drinks for the day. Layered clothing is always a good idea.
Northern Life Outfitters offer trips for both novices and experienced anglers. Bring your kids along and help them make their first angling moves. Join and enjoy!
