Had a great day on the water with Captain Luis and Deckhand Ishmael. Fishing had been a little slow so I had low expectations for the trip but we managed to get a marlin, 3 Dorado, 2 skipjack and two small Mako sharks. Luis and Ishmael were very professional, the boat and head were clean and the tackle we used was top quality (Shimano Tiagras and Talica’s). If you are taking a taxi there in the morning I would recommend telling them to drop you at Cabo Dolphins as our taxi seemed confused about the second Senior Frogs location on the south side of the marina.

These guys know how to fish! Would highly recommend going with them. They put you on fish and work hard the entire time to catch fish. This is not a boat ride which I have been on plenty of times with other companies that don’t even try to catch fish just drive you around and say sorry no fish for u today where’s my tip. Your going on a fishing trip with these guys they hooked my dream fish a 8’ stripped marlin and we got it in the boat. Caught other fish as well. Entire experience was great from start to finish.

I had such an amazing experience!!  The captain and 1st mate were polite, courteous and very helpful. From the minute we walked on to the boat to stepping off at the end of the trip, they made us feel at home. We caught 2 marlin early in the morning but the Captain never stopped trying to put us on more fish. We ended the day catching our 3rd marlin - what a way to end the trip. When I come back to Cabo, I’m definitely booking another trip with them!!

We’ve been on fishing trips where we spent hours trolling and came home with a couple of average fish, or even one big monster (a 9 foot blue marlin).  Today we wanted quantity.  We wanted to catch a lot of fish and we didn’t care what kind.  This is probably an unusual request, but Louis and Ismael gave us exactly that. We stayed relatively close to shore (less than a mile) and caught our first fish just 15 minutes into the excursion.  All told we hit our boat’s limit of Bonita in a few hours. We also saw whales and sea lions up close during our morning of fishing. The boat was comfortable and the Captain handled the very rough seas with skill.  It was a rough day to be on the water, but Louis and Ismael made it a thoroughly enjoyable day.

This review is for folks that don’t have a ton of experience fishing and are wondering if it’s too intense. It is, but in the best way! My wife and I took my Father on his first sea fishing experience and had an awesome time! It was quiet for the first 3-4 hours, but Ismael, our guide assured us we just had a wait a little longer. In the meantime we saw countless whales, even Marlin jumping and got to see the lovers arch at sunrise and enjoy the views of Cabo from the sea. We saw many boats around us reeling in Marlin and it was finally our turn! We snagged a 140lbs marlin and my father was able to reel in a Dorado immediately after!! It was so incredible and Ismael really did the leg work to help us bring them in, so that’s not a problem! Once we got back to shore we were able to get our fish processed for a tip and took 2 kilos of our marlin and the whole dorado was probably about 3 kilos. We took it back to our hotel, Pueblo Bonito and they cooked it up for us with a two hour notice! Sashimi for the marlin and a flavorful char for the dorado.
