River Wrangler Sportfishing
The Fraser River holds many amazing fishing spots and River Wrangler Sportfishing knows about all of them! Based in Abbotsford, BC, Captain Brandyn has been fishing in the area his whole life. Still passionate as on his first day, he runs fishing trips year round. Choose what you want to catch and join him on a trip of a lifetime!
You’ll be fishing from a custom made 22’ jet boat. The boat accommodates up to four anglers, including kids. She can reach the speed of 55 knots, thanks to the powerful 600 HP Chevrolet engine. This will let you change your fishing spots smoothly and without losing too much time. There’s navigational electronics to find the fish easily and a cooler.
The star of the show in the Fraser River is Sturgeon. You can go after this dinosaur fish any time of year but the best times are between March and November. They are heavy and hard-fighting, so landing one of these is an accomplishment to be proud of! You can also target several types of Salmon. You’ll usually use jigging, spinning, or bottom fishing to catch them. Up for a challenge? Catch them on a fly!
The captain will fully cover your fishing equipment and clean the fish you’re allowed to keep. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license, which is about $25. Bring some snacks and drinks, wear proper clothing, and you’re ready to go!
Sturgeon fishing on the Fraser river is exciting enough on its own but with River Wrangler Sportfishing – it gets even better!
