Fishing is one of the most relaxing and stress-relieving activities you can do, so why not do it with a professional? Charlet Tour and Captain Alex can take you on a trip from Puerto Jiménez at any time of the year. Capt. Alex has been fishing since he was a kid and learned to appreciate and love everything related to the sea – its beauty, nature, and all life that lives in it.
Join your guide on a 24’ custom boat. This center console provides an authentic experience and an old-school approach to fishing. There’s enough room for 4 anglers to fish at the same time, so don’t forget to invite your friends and family. The boat has navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler for your drinks. If requested in advance, the captain can also bring you snorkeling equipment.
You’ll target various nearshore and offshore species. If you don’t want to go too far away, you can catch Roosterfish, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, and Grouper. Over 10 miles offshore, you can encounter Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Marlin, and Barracuda. You can keep most of the catch and the captain will clean it for you free of charge.
Your fishing equipment, such as rods, reels, lures, and bait are fully covered by the captain. He’ll also prepare soft drinks and snacks but feel free to bring anything of your choice. The captain uses an app for English speaking customers but you can also request the first mate to translate from Spanish to English and vice versa. This comes at an additional charge and you’ll need to request it in advance.
Charlet Tour prides with excellent customer service they provide and will gladly take you aboard for your next trip.
