Capt Dewey’s Guide Service specializes in inshore fishing charters in swfl from Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island, and Matlacha. Captain Kyle Dewey has 15 years of fishing experience in Florida and can put you on a variety of fish.

The boat you will be fishing out of is a classic flats fishing machine, a 20’ ActionCraft Flatsmaster, which has been very well maintained and kept up to date with a new gas tank, the latest electronics, trolling motor with GPS, and brand new cushions. She’s powered by a 225 HP Mercury engine and also features a live bait tank and a cooler.

There’s lots of species you can target here – from Snapper and Trout, to hard-fighting Snook and Redfish. Let’s not forget Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and the Silver King – Tarpon! Besides catching fish, you can also enjoy the surroundings, and your eye may catch some dolphins, manatee, sea turtles, or a variety of birds.

Captain Kyle supplies all of your angling needs from rod and reels, tackle, live bait, safety equipment, lifejackets, a cooler filled with ice and water so be sure to bring some snacks and your favorite beverages.

I have fished the Sanibel area for the last 15 years and finally decided to turn my passion into a business. I am a USCG certified licensed and insured captain. I love taking people out fishing and seeing the joy on their faces when they catch their first fish. The main type of fishing I do is inshore/back bay fishing. I use a variety of live baits which include pinfish, pilchards, and shrimp, depending on availability and time of year.
