Many fishermen around the world hold the dream of being able to fish on the Florida Keys. You’ve been wise enough to choose here as your vacation destination then you’re in for a real treat. The water here is laden with a great variety of native species nearshore and migratory species of fish further out.

Goliath Charters is run by Captain Craig Clopper, who’ll guide you out on his 25’ Seavee boat. This reliable boat is ideal for flats fishing, nearshore, and offshore. Whatever you’re preferred style of fishing is, this boat can deliver. 

On this trip, he’ll take you out to the Marquesas Keys. These uninhabited islands are the perfect fishing grounds for the likes of Redfish, Bonefish, and Cobia can be found here. As well as this bigger species such as Mahi Mahi and Sailfish are also up for grabs. Let Captain Craig know beforehand if you wish to fly fish or test out your spear-throwing skills.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided for you. Live bait is caught beforehand but if you want to give him a hand fetching it then contact him prior to your trip. Once your back ashore he’ll clean your fish for you.

Take some food and drinks with you as well as suncream and sunglasses. You’ll also need to get a fishing license beforehand. Apart from that, you’re all ready to set off to the Marquesas Islands for a sun and fish-filled day.
