Captain Kurt Charters – 21'
The waters of Lake Erie are known for their beauty as well as the diversity of wildlife, so joining Captain Kurt Charters is a great way to get to know it better! Captain Kurt Bitikofer has over 40 years of fishing experience and loves meeting new people, so he’ll make sure to take you to all the best spots while also ensuring you have fun.
Join him on his 21’ Alumacraft aluminum fishing boat, accommodating up to 3 people. This is the perfect boat for exploring these waters and targeting a variety of species. It’s rigged with navigational equipment, a stereo system, as well as a wireless trolling motor so you can sneak up on some of the fearful specimens.
Lake Erie and its tributaries are as fish-rich as they are beautiful, so there’s something to target no matter the season. You can fish for Walleye in the summer months, reel in some Steelhead in the fall, Smallmouth Bass is a great target in the spring and Trout fishing is at its best in wintertime.
Capt. Kurt will provide you with everything you need for a productive day on the water, including rods, reels, and tackle. He has fly fishing gear on board as well, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
The crew is customer-centric, and will provide you with snacks and drinks for your refreshment. At the end of the day, they’ll be happy to take you back to shore and clean and fillet all of your catch for you to take home straight to the table. There’s a first mate to help you out during the trip, and he works for tips – normally $100.
Captain Kurt Charters has everything you need for a great fishing adventure, so join them and explore the beautiful Lake Erie!
