Outrageous Fishing – Stiek Yt
Captain Byron from Outrageous Fishing has got another adventure for you! This time, you can take a fishing trip and have your guide’s undivided attention. The capacity is limited to two guests only, so everything will be adjusted to your needs. Whether you’re here to learn how to fish or you’re an experienced angler who wants a professional by your side, you’ll find it here. Outrageous fishing has been operating for over 20 years and is one of the longest-operating charter companies in Cape Town.
You’ll be fishing from a 15’ Ski craft boat. “Stiek Yt” is the baby of their fleet of charter vessels, perfect for the single or 2 anglers, who would like to experience a few hours on the water, catching some of the delicacies of the ocean, whilst being able to admire the beautiful Cape from out on the water. She’s powered by twin 40 HP Yamaha engines and features navigational and safety equipment.
There are several departure points and it depends on the season where you’ll start your trip. Your guide will get in touch before the trip to discuss the details.
You’ll target whatever’s in season and biting, which could be Bonito, Yellowtail Amberjack, Geelbek, Snoek, Shad, Kob, or Tuna. You can catch them using spinning, bottom fishing, or traditional handlining. You get to keep some of the catch, so it’s a good idea to bring a cooler for the fish.
Captain Byron will cover your fishing equipment and lures. You’ll need to bring your food, drinks, and sun protection.
Come and join Outrageous Fishing and highly experienced Captain Byron for some great fun and a few good laughs!
