Get to know how Costa Rica got its name and see the riches of its sea life. Vida En El Mar Sport Fishing run their trips from El Jobo, a well-known fishing community in the area. Captain Eblin is a third generation of fishermen, so it’s safe to say he knows these fishing spots like the palm of his hand. With him by your side, it doesn’t matter if you’re an avid angler or you’re just getting ready to land your first fish! Everybody can join!
Your adventure starts on the 28’ Propio boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine and features navigational electronics and safety equipment. To make your trip more comfortable, there’s a toilet on board, and to make it more fun, you can use snorkeling equipment (just make sure to request it in advance).
Captain Eblin will mostly take you nearshore spots, where you can target Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Snapper, and even Barracuda. Depending on what you want to catch, you’ll switch between bottom fishing and trolling. Although the captain prefers to release the fish, a few can be kept and he’ll cook them for you. That’s one of the perks of fishing – your trophies are edible!
You’ll be provided with Shimano and Penn fishing equipment, fresh ceviche, and some drinks. Make sure to bring your sun protection gear, so you can enjoy this sunny day to the fullest.
Vida En El Mar Sport Fishing can take you fishing anytime, just choose the date!
