Head on out for some backwater fishing around the Florida Keys and mainland! Captain Joseph Infiesta is a local Floridian, who’s U.S. Coast Guard licensed and insured. He’s ready to show you some of the best fishing grounds in the area.
You’ll hop aboard his 19’ Boston Whaler center console on this adventure on the flats. It’s ideally suited for small groups of up to 3 people to fit comfortably aboard. It’s well kitted out too, with a live bait well, fishfinder technology, and GPS to guide you to where the fishing is strong on that day.
On these thrilling trips you’ll be in search of Snook, Snapper, Grouper, Trout, Redfish, Tripletail, and Jacks of all trades! (Jack Crevalle and Bar Jack just to name a few). Only light tackle is required for techniques such as spinning, trolling, and bottom fishing that you’ll use to reel them in. You’ll use live bait to tempt them which Captain Joseph gets before or during the trip. When he gets it during the trip, he extends the trip, as well as this it’s included in the price.
Rods, tackle, and bait are included in the cost but you’re welcome to bring along any of your own gear! Additionally, your fishing license and catch cleaning for any fish you fancy cooking is also included in the price. If your accommodation is nearby then Captain Joseph also offers a shuttle service to make your day that little bit easier.
You’re recommended to bring food/snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Bottled water is provided. A cooler for food/snacks and drinks will also be provided. For a truly great backwater expedition after some excellent game fish, don’t hesitate to book with Captain Joseph!
