Join Mott Ridge Charters for an exciting day of fishing in North Carolina! They offer multiple departure points, so you can start your trip from Belhaven, Swan Quarter, Manteo, and Oriental. The captain tailors each trip to his guest’s needs, to make sure everyone enjoys their day on the boat.

Are you new to fishing? It’s not a problem, as all skill levels are welcome. You can also bring your kids and see them catching their first fish ever!

You’ll be fishing from a 24’ Skeeter bay boat, powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. The boat has a shallow draft, which is perfect for spots that are hard to reach. Up to 3 anglers can fish aboard comfortably at the same time.

Explore the crystal-clear waters of Pamlico Sound and target Redfish, Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Sheepshead, and more. Let the captain know if you already have a specific fish on your mind, so he can prepare everything. You can keep your catch after the trip, so it’s a good idea to bring your cooler.

You can use a variety of Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa rods on the boat, and the captain will also make sure there’s enough artificial and live bait. Make sure to purchase your fishing license in advance and prepare some snacks and drinks.

Captain Bud has been fishing since he was a kid. No matter the time of the year or what the weather outside looks like you can find him on the water. His favorite fish to target are Redfish, Bluefish, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Sheepshead. He loves being around people and takes pride in helping people land the catch of their dreams.
