Azura Retreats invites you to join them aboard their 30’ center console and target Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, King and Queen Mackerel, Giant Trevally, Cobia, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Barracuda.
Providing a range of professional tackle for both the beginner and the enthusiast, the crew will help you make an outstanding catch possible and will cater to your specific needs. They will be happy to cook your catch for lunch or dinner once you come back to shore although they operate a strict catch-and-release policy on protected species. Due to being located in a marine sanctuary, the amount of land-based fishing is closely monitored and limited, and is also catch-and-release only.
Fishing in the Mozambique waters is excellent all year round, with a constant stock of Sailfish, Wahoo, and Tuna, as well as a number of superb fish for your dining table. Some species bite best at certain times, depending on the prevailing trade winds. The Kusi – southern wind – blows from April to September, bringing a plethora of Kingfish. The Kaskazi (the northern one) blows from October until March, which is when big game and Billfish are at their peak.
Choose the best time for you and your party and hop on the ‘Libar.’ She is a comfortable vessel with twin 115 HP Yamaha engines. The Libar is fully outfitted with everything you need for a productive day out on the water. All you have to bring is your desire to have fun!
