Spend a relaxing day fishing with Pergető Kalandok Charters. Capt. Pergető has been fishing on Lake Balaton since he was a kid and recently started professionally guiding fishing trips. Lake Balaton is the most popular fishing spot in Hungary and attracts anglers all around Europe. There’s almost 40 fish species here and Capt. Pergető will help you catch a few.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 16’ classic Jula boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. The trips are private, so you can have the boat for yourself even if you’re the only one booking the trip. You won’t go far from the shore, so the boat doesn’t need strong engines. Everything you need is already there – Garmin navigational equipment that will help you find the fish, rods and reels to catch them, and a cooler to store them.

Since the lake is so rich with fish species, you never know what’s going to bite. However, the most common catches are Northern Pike, Zander, Asp, and European Perch. All catches strictly need to be released, so make sure your camera is charged and take some awesome photos instead of a trophy.

Your captain will do everything he can to adjust the trip to your needs. He only asks his guests to follow the general safety rules and be careful with fishing equipment. The gear is provided by the captain but you’ll need to purchase your fishing license and bring some snacks and drinks for the day.
