Join Gulf Island Charters and Captain Danny for a fun-filled, catch and release fishing adventure! Start your day on the water in Orange Beach, a place blessed with a year-round fishing season. Capt. Ty has been fishing in this area most of his life, and there’s not a good fishing spot he hasn’t found. Taking a trip with an experienced guide like he is, is the best way to have lots of catch, learn useful tricks, and feel safe on the boat.

Capt. Ty specializes in kid fishing trips where kids can learn to fish in a safe yet fun environment. While most charter fishing trips on the Gulf Coast are adult-driven, this trip is all about the kids. Their fishing trips are designed to introduce your children to saltwater fishing in calm protected waters close to shore. The fish you can expect to hook are Catfish, Croaker, White Trout, and Black Drum, just keep in mind all catch will be released.

You’ll be fishing on his 25’ Carolina Skiff center console that runs on a 150 HP Evinrude engine. With a capacity of 6, it’s the perfect vessel for small groups and family trips. The boat is extra wide, so there’s more than enough space for everyone to fish at the same time. A full array of Simrad and Furuno navigation electronics will ensure you’re on the right track during the trip. There is no porta-potty but the captain will be more than happy to bring you somewhere if needed.

Your fishing equipment is covered, so you only need to bring some snacks and drinks. Join Gulf Island Charters and spend a memorable day with your loved ones!

Captain Donald Roy has been fishing the waters of Louisiana and Orange Beach, Alabama since he was a little boy. His longtime goal was to finally start doing what he so loves. Customer satisfaction is something he and his team take very seriously, and are always doing everything they can to make sure all their guests are having fun, especially the little ones.
