Shooter Dog Fishing Charters specializes in offshore Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Tautog, and Striped Bass. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. 

Your adventure begins aboard the "Shooter Dog," a 46’ Downeast that can carry up to 6 passengers. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time!

Kids are welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. It’s recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
