You’ll head out on his 16’ Hewes flats boat, perfect for exploring the St.Johns river, and contributing estuaries. It’s a great vessel for fishing with your family, as it can accommodate 2 anglers. The boat is powered by a 90 HP Yamaha engine, and it features all the navigational electronics to help put you on the fish.
These waters are as rich as they are beautiful, and there’s no shortage of fish species to target. Jacksonville, Fl offers some of the best inshore fishing in the North Florida, with a wide range of river spots, contributing estuaries, and the intracosal water way. You can expect to reel in fish such as Redfish, Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Mangrove Snapper, Snook,and Sheepshead.
Capt. Troy will provide you with everything you need to reel ‘em in, including rods, reels, and tackle. You’ll be fishing using either live bait or a range of artificial lures, depending on your target. The captain will happily clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day so you can enjoy a nice meal back home.
