Regardless of the species you’d like to target on your trips, Capt. Rogers is happy to accommodate your charter accordingly. Whether it’s trolling for Kingfish, Jigging for Amberjacks or deep dropping for Snapper, Grouper and more, Ruthless is equipped with the appropriate fishing gear for every occasion, mainly utilizing Penn Senators and Penn spinning reels. Children’s rods can also be made available upon request.

Each fishing trip includes bait (both live and artificial), tackle, fishing licenes for all members of your group as well as a complimentary cleaning, filleting and bagging of the catch by Capt. Rogers.

Please don’t forget to thank your captain at the end of the trip with an appropriate gratuity. Captain Elaine works hard to make every trip special - show your appreciation by remembering a gratuity that is calculated as part of the total trip price, including the deposit.

I grew up in Biloxi, MS and have been fishing since I was in diapers. I started with bream fishing with a cane pole and graduated to deep sea fishing. After catching my first Gulf fish I was hooked. I just can't go back to fishing for smaller fish. My bait is bigger than a bream. LOL

My trip was very good. We caught our limit on red snapper plus some that we had to throw back but that was what we intended to catch. We also caught trigger fish that we had to throw back due to them being out of season. We also caught vermilion that we got to keep. The trip was very fun for my 3 kids ranging in age 15-17. That is a lot Elain!

Awesome trip with captain Elaine Rodgers aboard ruthless!! The captain worked hard and fast to bait our hooks and get us on the fish. She even had to get in the water to get the lines untangled after a trigger wrapped it around the prop. Captain Elaine also kept us relaxed while we were caught up in a pretty good storm while we were out. I would definitely book another trip with captain Rodgers and highly recommend her!

I am so sorry the kings were not chewing that day. We started out trolling but they just were not hungry. Unfortunately when we change in mid trip to a bottom fishing trip we can’t get to the off shore spots. Wish I could have done more. Sorry
