Steady Fishing Charters
When it comes to fishing in the Everglades, Steady Fishing Charters’ name says it all! And steady is what you’re gonna get.
Join Captain Travis, who’s been fishing the Everglades his whole life. As a 4th generation fisherman, he’s seen all that these backcountry and creeks have to offer and knows how to use them best.
Fish aboard a 24’ Skeeter boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine and features navigational electronics and a live bait tank. There’s a bimini to keep you in shade and lots of storage space for your belongings.
You’ll explore local inshore and backcountry waters, with your main targets being Tripletail, Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Snapper, and more. As no fish is the same, you’ll use different techniques to catch them and see which one works best. Catching fish is only half the fun. After the trip, your captain will clean your catch, so you can count on a tasty meal, be it at a restaurant or at your home.
Capt. Travis recommends bringing snacks and food, which you can store in the cooler. Your fishing equipment is fully covered. Children 6 and under are required to wear USCG approved life jackets, which your guide provides, but for the comfort of the children, it’s recommended bringing your own.
A day of fishing with Steady Fishing Charters, Capt. Travis asks only one thing - to have lots of fun.
