There’s nothing better than fishing opportunities of Tampa Bay - at least according to Capt. Pat from Coquina Key Charters, who decided to move back here from SC because of them. Fishing is not his only passion - he’s an army veteran, who’s involved in the conservation of wildlife, especially vertebrates. If you’re looking for a great fishing guide and a person with lots of knowledge about nature, Capt. Pat is your man.
You’ll be fishing from a 20’ Proline Flat Back boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. This bay boat features the latest navigational equipment, a 175 HP Suzuki engine, a wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, and a cooler. A variety of rods, reels, bait, and artificial lures are also there, always ready for a new battle with fish.
The most targeted species are Snook, Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Snapper but during certain times of the year, you can also catch Kingfish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Tarpon. Depending on the fishing season and your hopes and requests, Capt. Pat will adjust the trip as much as he can.
Since your fishing equipment and license are covered, there’s not a lot of things you need to do before the trip. Just bring some cold drinks and snacks, and don’t forget your sunscreen and a hat. Kids are welcome to join as well, and this can be a great first-time fishing experience for them.
Coquina Key Charters and Capt. Pat are here to make this trip a memorable experience for you. Join!
