Third Coast Thunder Fishing Charters welcomes you to Gulf Shores, Alabama. It is devoted to making sure your experience on the Gulf of Mexico is both memorable and enjoyable! From briefer introduction trips to long big game trips, this crew has something for everyone.
The crew will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, King Mackerel, Snapper, Sheepshead, Cobia, and Triggerfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 34' Venture offshore sport fishing boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. The boat runs on twin 300 HP Yamaha engines, uses extensive navigation technology, and is equipped with outriggers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

6 Hour Trip on July 3, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 childMet crew at Fort Morgan Marina. Easy to find. On the boat we took snacks and a small cooler. Bean bags for comfort on trip out and back into marina. Caught a limit of fish super fast and then off to catch more snapper and mackerel. Bonus. Caught one shark next to offshore rig!!! They cleaned our fish and supplied recipes. Also text pics of trip to us. It was an awesome trip!!

We got to see dolphins in a few sharks. They baited the hooks, unhooked the fish, and filleted them for us. The crew at the dock were also very friendly and helpful!

4 Hour Trip – (6AM) on July 24, 2022 • 2 adultsCaptain Chris had great communication and was able to adjust the trip quickly due to unforeseen circumstances. Deck hand Logan was the best I’ve ever fished with. Very knowledgeable and a fun guy to talk with. We got on the Spanish Mackerel as soon as we left the bay. Boat was very fast and got from spot to spot quickly. I would highly recommend.
