Florida Keys Backcountry Fishing is one of the best charters you can find for shallow water fishing. Join Captain Brock for a day of fishing, whether you’re a novice or an experienced angler. The trips are available year round, so you just need to pick one that sounds best for you.
Fishing is done from a 17’ Maverick which allows you to get into shallow water and fish areas that can’t be accessed by most. There’s enough room for 2 guests to join. The boat is powered by a 90 HP Yamaha engine and features a live bait tank and a cooler.
Using a 23’ carbon fiber push pole, the captain will silently push the boat through shallow water to stalk even the weariest of shallow water gamefish. Once the fish is spotted, you will present a cast to that fish and work for the bite which is extremely rewarding when sight fished.
During your trip, you will be going after species like Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Barracuda, and more. If you would like to target anything specific, just let Capt. Brock know and he will make plans to target that species.
Don’t forget to bring refreshments for the day and good sun protection is always advised.
The memories that are made fishing the world class game fish of the Florida Keys will last a lifetime. Join Florida Keys Backcountry Fishing welcomes you aboard!
