With warm months comes the chance to go fishing with Stray Cat Fishing! Join Captain Ron in Barnstable, MA, anytime between June and the end of October.

Capt. Ron Murphy has provided his customers with the excitement of catching our state’s premier gamefish on light tackle for over the past 30 years. He helped his customers to get tournament awards, taught them a lot about the local waters and marine life, and showed them how to have an enjoyable day on the water, fishing with a courteous captain and crew, a clean well maintained boat and quality tackle from trolling to flyroding.

You’ll be fishing on a 31’ Custom boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat is powered by a 375 HP Caterpillar engine that can reach the speed of 22 knots. She also features the latest navigational electronics, a private toilet, a flybridge, and a cooler for your catch.

Most of the time, you’ll explore nearshore spots, looking for Bluefish and Striped Bass. There’s a variety of techniques you can use and you can freely rely on your captain. He’ll know how to adjust his approach based on weather conditions and the season.

Capt. Ron covers your licenses and fishing equipment (including fly fishing gear). You only need to pack sun protection, food, and drinks for the day.

Oh, and you also get to take filleted catch home! It doesn’t get better than that. Join Stray Cat Fishing!
