Salt Life Charters

Come enjoy a day out in the water with Salt Life Charters. Captain J. Gilbert has been fishing the lower Laguna Madre for over 30 years and knows these spots like the back of his hand. Whether you’re in search of a delicious table fare, some quality time with your loved ones, or simply a relaxing time on the water, this is the charter for you.

Hop aboard a 24’ Shallow Stalker Pro that is perfect for flats and areas with shallow water. This boat accommodates up to 4 guests and everyone can fish at the same time. She’s powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine and features GPS and all necessary safety equipment.

Spotted Seatrout is the main target on each trip, but you can occasionally catch Redfish and other inshore species. Light tackle is the main technique you’ll use, so this is a great start for all beginners. Capt. John will show you the basics, so you’ll be able to catch fish on your own by the end of the trip. You can release the catch or keep it for a tasty meal afterward.

Capt. John uses the latest fishing equipment and it all comes included in the price. You just need to purchase your fishing license and bring snacks and drinks for the day. Hats and sunglasses are very useful, no matter what type of trip you’re taking.

Salt Line Charters will gladly help you to stock up that fridge with some fresh fish. All you need to do is choose the date of your arrival.
