Bolero Safari Maldives is the way to go if you want to enjoy the Maldives both as a fisherman and as a tourist. Whether you’re looking for an adventure to share with your friends, a calm family getaway, or a corporate retreat, the Bolero crew will be able to tailor a trip according to your individual needs.
The Bolero is a 65’ cruiser that’s powered by a 280 HP Daewoo engine and is designed with maximum comfort in mind. It can accommodate up to 11 guests with five cabins located in the lower deck. Four of the cabins are twin-sharing, and the fifth is a triple cabin best suited for families. All of the cabins have air-conditioning and separate toilets.
When it comes to fishing, the offering is very diverse, and it really depends on what you’re looking to catch. The fish species that can be found in these waters are: Wahoo, Barracuda, Sailfish, Yellowfin and Dogtooth Tuna, Red Snapper, Marlin, and more besides. The cool thing about fishing aboard a cruiser is that you don’t need to worry about going home if you’re on a liveaboard trip. Once you’ve had enough, you can just go to bed, which is a couple of feet away.
The price of a trip includes a full board meal arrangement, plus tea and coffee at any time during the day. Transport to and from Malé airport is also included according to your flight schedule. Fishing and snorkeling equipment needs to be rented if you will not be bringing your own, so please make sure to notify the captain in advance if you will be needing those. A green tax of $6 per person, per day is not included in the price. Lastly, a fuel surcharge is applicable for all Atolls other than North and South Malé Atoll.
