Eric's Elite Guide Service invites you to lake and rivers trips jam-packed with fun! Based in Branson, Missouri, it offers a wide range of experience from the beginner to technique-specific trips. Captain Eric Olliverson's goal is to provide the ultimate fishing experience. Whether it's fishing for Bass, Crappie, and Walleye on Table Rock and Bull Shoals Lake, or going after Rainbow and Brown trout on Lake Taneycomo, Eric's Elite Guide Service will make sure you have a memorable experience!
Your trip will start on a 22' Phoenix bass boat. It runs on a 250 HP Mercury engine with a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots. It can sit up to 4 guests, and it's got modern GPS and fish finding technology that will quickly take you to fishing spots.
You'll use light or heavy tackle. You'll chase many beautiful fish dwelling in the area, including Rainbow Trout, Walleye, Crappie, Largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass and more. Make your trip even better by bringing the whole family, especially the kids! The fish you catch can stay with you, so you can prepare delicious meals when back home or practice catch and release.
All the gear will wait for you on the boat. The captain will provide you with water, and he'll clean and fillet your catch if cleaning stations are available in the area that you launch from.You'll only need licenses and food for the trip.

My kids and I had a wonderful time fishing today with Captain Eric! Since it was their first time fishing in Missouri, it was great having a true local who has fished here his whole life guide us. I usually take the back seat and help the kids with their snags and poles as needed, but Captain Eric took charge of the entire morning — and even Mom got to catch a fish! He was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, and he stayed in touch with me leading up to our booking to make sure everything went smoothly. We definitely encourage others to give him a try if you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable trip!

A Gentleman and a Bad Ass Fisherman

This is my second time put with Mr. O. My Buddy and I had a great time, caught lots of fish, and got out of our comfort zones with different fishing techniques. Don’t get me started on the Phoenix boat and electronics. I am a huge fan of bass fishing and Mr. O’s set up is top notch. He was able to find some really good spots for us and was patient whn we made mistakes. He even would get our hooks unstuck. He is a top tier guide with over 20 years of experience. We will be booking with him again in the near future.

Eric was very professional and prepared for our trip. He reached out ahead of time to switch lakes hoping to have a better experience given the conditions. We caught a mixed bag of bass including a solid 5+ largemouth and a 25lb carp on a swimbait. I'd recommend booking with him if you're fishing in the area.

We had an amazing 3-hour fishing trip with Captain Eric! Our group included 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 12 and 9), and he was absolutely fantastic with all of us. Captain Eric was friendly, patient, and incredibly informative—he answered every question we had and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident.
We caught a great mix of fish, including different kinds of bass, walleye, and bluegill! His boat was modern, clean, and very comfortable for our family, and all the equipment was in great condition. Captain Eric took care of everything—baiting hooks, taking fish off the line, and making sure we had the best possible experience.
We had such a fun and memorable time and would definitely book with Captain Eric again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a great day on the water!

I had a fantastic time with my 3 grandsons! Eric was a great captain and was very considerate of what our goal was for the trip. He took us to a great spot where the fish were biting and we were excited about all we caught. Our only regret was not bringing a cooler to take them home. We highly recommend him as a friendly, considerate captain who more than met our expectations! Will be recommending them to our friends.
