Cap Alex on the Kay Chaser Cancun performed flawlessly. I didnt ask his age but I would say around 25, with the knowledge of a 50 y.o. crusty and seasoned Captain. I say that in a best way possible as I was highly impressed with his skill and knowledge of the fishing spots. I said, I want something rare in Cancun, bam 36 inch Blackfin Tuna. Hey Cap, how about some Barracudas, I hear they have sharp teeth, bam 5 Barracudas. Hey Cap, how about the catch of a lifetime. Woah Nelly, almost 6ft. Sailfish landed!!!

I went with my 8 y.o. who loves fishing but loves to yap and touch everything. They (Alex, Diego and Hector) had excellent patience with him, kept him intrigued with their fish and weather factoids and then their fish jokes.  At times they would tend to both of us so we can build great shared memories and at other times they would focus on him so I could fish in peace.

This Crew and boat outfit are highly recommended and will definitely use them again and recommend them to all my friends.

To top it off, I wanted to keep my catch and take it with me to the US. I called several businesses and they would not freeze my catch. The resort we stayed at wouldn’t do it either and my room didnt have a freezer. Seeing my request, Cap Alex offered to freeze and pack the fillets for a small fee. He is the only Cap I called that does this!  If you fish in Cancun, bring a cooler and get him to freeze your catch to share your monster fish with your friends and family back home!

My hubby is an avid fisherman & this was my first time fishing on a boat so my hubby wanted to make sure I had a good experience.  We caught 10 Bonita Tuna , the captain told us we broke the record caught in one day . And we also caught a 50 lb King Mackerel . I was so excited & the captain & his crew made sure we had a great time . Really glad my hubby chose this boat to charter for my first fishing trip !

This fishing trip topped our excursions during our visit to Cancun. They were watching the weather even before it was scheduled to keep us up to date on what to expect.  We got to the marina and out we went to slay some fish! We caught two gigantic barracuda, what a workout! Captain Alejandro was very experienced and made it a trip to remember. Highly recommend- five stars all around.

Súper recomendado, excelente trato, muy buena pesca, el capitán es muy agradable, te explica, te ayuda. Fue un día demasiado caluroso y el capitán tenía aguas, refrescos, lo necesario para poder seguir llevando la pesca a gusto y sin molestias. Me fui satisfecha y pienso volver a salir en su embarcación. Muchas gracias por la experiencia, hasta la próxima!

What a Nice experience we had at the kay chaser in Cancún , early morning we went fishing with Hector and Alex and it was a great adventure, They know everything about the area explaining about Quintana Roo area and islands. After 10 minutes i caught my first fish ever , they helped me as this was my first time ever fishing. At the end of the day we caught 9 fishes, which we made a delicious ceviche to enjoy the trip . Totally recommended 10\10
