Please be advised – the boat has changed! I’m no longer running the Pathfinder as I’ve sold it for a classic Mako.
Step aboard Captain Rami’s classic Mako 221b and have a wonderful time targeting inshore, nearshore, and offshore species of the waters around Jacksonville, Florida. Captain Rami Ashouri loves to chase Shrimp boats and Pogie migration to put you on the biggest, most drag-pulling action. Join him on the water and have a terrific fishing experience in Jacksonville!
You will fish from a classic 1993 Mako 221b repowered by a 2020 Suzuki DF250 and equipped with new dual Simrad GO series chart plotters and the latest in sonar technology. It can handle up to 4 anglers readily but is best for fishing 3 anglers. It is the ideal vessel for everything from chasing Shrimp boats and Pogie pods that make their way through this area in the summertime to bull red drum fishing to offshore fishing.
Shrimp boats can at times hold a variety of species from sharks to Tarpon to False Albacore that can be targeted on fly or spin with bait or artificials.
The various species you can go after include Blacktip Shark, Tarpon, big Jack Crevalle, Spanish and King Mackerel, Cobia, Tripletail, Bonito, Snapper, Grouper, and Triggerfish. You can catch them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, as well as fly fishing.
Captain Rami provides all conventional and fly tackle, bait, licenses, drinks, as well as catch cleaning. The only things you will need for the trip are the snacks and beverages of your choice.
Join Captain Rami and spend a memorable day on the water with Saturiba Company!
