The captain’s restored 22’ Mowdy center console is powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine, and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio systems. It can sit up to 4 persons and features a wireless trolling motor and an ice-box. It is also equipped with a livewell.
Keeping Up With The Jones specializes in spinning, jigging, popping, and fly fishing, and uses light tackle. You’ll mainly be fishing for Alligator Gar, Black Drums, Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead. You and the captain will each keep your catch. If you wish, you can also release it back into the water. Make this an excellent family trip by bringing your kids with you.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price, as well as lures and live bait. At the end of the trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home. You should only pack some food and drinks in case you need refreshment, and be sure to bring your fishing licenses.
