If you’re looking for the right way to explore Florida Everglades, join Capt. Brett’s for a day of fishing. Have been catching fish in the Everglades for over 20 years. He’s based in Fort Lauderdale and knows about fishing opportunities in local lakes and coastal waters.
These trips welcome everyone, regardless of your fishing experience. Please bring your friends, kids, and even pets on the boat and share the adventure with them. There’s enough space for wheelchair-bound anglers to join as well.
You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Sterling boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine that will get you to your fishing spot in no time. There’s a cooler for your snacks and drinks but feel free to bring your cooler if you’re keeping the catch. The boat also features navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a wireless trolling engine.
The captain specializes in catching Largemouth Bass, your primary target on these trips. You can also go after Crappie, Alligator Gar, Peacock Bass, and Sunfish. If you have any special requests regarding the fish, you want to target, just let the captain know. He can take you to a different fishing spot, where you’ll have more chances of catching the fish of your dreams.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered, so you don’t need to rent it or bring your own. Have your fishing license ready, and pack some snacks and drinks. Departure times are also flexible, so let the captain know when you want to go.

Everglades Extravaganza

What a wild and amazing fishing adventure. We had no idea the wide variety of fish species available in the Everglades. This was more of a catching trip than a fishing trip. Brett knows where the fish are and will coach you so you can catch the largest of each species.Being from Texas this was a totally different experience, but if you listen to Brett’s advice, you WILL catch fish. We caught well over 100 fish on our trip, that included some exceptional Peacock Bass. We caught almost every species of fish that calls the Everglades home. We highly recommend Florida Everglades Charters.

Fantastic Day on the Glades

We had an amazing day. My group of four adults had plenty of room on the boat. Captain Jose was great as well, he put us on a shaded and breezy spot in the Everglades with virtually no mosquitos. Jose was very knowledgeable of the area and the different fish in the area. As well, his boat equipment put us right on the fish. With his help we were able to catch plenty of decently sized fish all morning. As we caught five separate species, we also made plenty of unforgettable memories. I cannot recommend this service enough.

My fiancé and I had an absolutely incredible time on our recent fishing trip with Bass Fishing, Florida Everglades Charters, and it's all thanks to the amazing Captain John! Great Time!

Captain Tim was great. He knows a lot about fishing in the Everglades. My son and I were able to catch many fish. It seemed we couldn’t keep the fish off our lines. Just an fyi for anyone who is not seasoned in understanding. It is possible you may have to supply your own bait. For a half day guide we did spend right at $100 for our bait. It worked out perfectly to where the bait literally ran out as we finished our time on the water. Nice fella. We look forward to using their services in the future and would recommend him to others.
