Looking for a charter that offers it all? Welcome to Swan Point Charters! This is the ultimate way to explore the waters around Beaufort, NC, and target all kinds of fish. With a variety of fishing grounds and species, it’s hard to decide what counts as the most desirable trophy. That is why your Captain lets his guests speak their mind and does the best he can to make their wishes come true.

The trip starts on a 25’ southern cross made by carolina yachts that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat has been recently restored and features a 300
HP Suzuki engine and modern navigational electronics. Offering a safe and comfortable ride at all times, this skiff will get you right where you need to be.

Flats, wrecks, reefs, and backcountry - everything bursts with fish, so you won’t make a mistake whatever you choose. But if you already know what type of fish you want to catch, or have a specific technique in mind, let the captain know. You can go after Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Redfish, all the way to Red Snapper, Mackerel, and Amberjack.

All trips are family-friendly, so feel free to bring your kids along. Novices are welcome too and there’s no reason to hesitate coming, just because you’ve never fished before.

Your fishing equipment is included in the price. Pack some snacks, drinks, and sun protection, and don’t forget your fishing license.

We caught a SHARK !!!

We had an amazing time with Swan Point Charters! It was me, my husband, and our three boys — and this trip was one for the books! We caught several Spanish mackerel and even landed a shark, which the boys are still bragging about. Captain was incredible — friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the waters. He made sure each of our boys had a hands-on, memorable experience and took the time to explain everything in a way they could understand and enjoy. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it shows in how he runs his charters. If you’re looking for a family-friendly adventure on the water with a guide who knows his stuff and makes it fun from start to finish, Swan Point Charters is the way to go. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

Shark Attack!

4 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing on July 2, 2025 • 4 adults • 1 child

We chose the shark charter. To say we had a great time would be an understatement. The Captain was great! We bought our two teenage boys and they loved him. He made the trip exceptional for them with his amazing personally and devotion to making sure they had the best experience! We all caught at least one shark a piece and boys landed multiple. The smallest one we caught was around four feet. We would recommend Swan Point charters 10/10! We will also be coming back in the fall for what I know will be another great adventure!!!

JG was more than accommodating right from the start. He called ahead of time to make a plan for fishing on our scheduled day. He took into account the weather and his knowledgeable experience from the season to make proper and accurate recommendations for our family. We had a 2yo & 4yo aboard which JG handled like a champ even in choppy waters and windy conditions. Our 12yo son (who is an avid and very experienced fisherman) caught Blue fish and JG was also very accommodating, patient and sensitive to my need for teaching as a newbie! He was awesome! Great time for family!

I messaged ahead of time with a few questions and had quick responses and all my questions answered. He called the day before the trip to go over details and any questions we had. We had a great time and plan to book with Jeffrey again when we are back in town! I have a 3yo and almost 5yo and they loved him and he was friendly and made it a fun experience for everyone!
