It was a tough day of fishing (cold and windy), but Captain Kevin did everything he could to ensure we caught some fish.  He was very knowledgeable of the area, the different fish, and the times they were biting best.  We were a larger group of beginners with a couple kids.  He was very patient with us and was able to get my daughter her first big catch.  I would highly recommend his guide service to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing day of fishing.

It took us a while to find fish, but captain Kevin was determined to find them. We had a great time!
We are definitely coming back next summer.

Capt Kevin put us on the fish right off the bat.
We had bites but the fish were getting away so Capt Kevin showed us how to set the hook and then We caught fish and later we caught a mixed bag of fish.
Very good guy and very attentive to what was going on with his guests.
I plan on booking a day trip as soon as we eat all our fish from this trip.

With a STRONG east wind, it made the fishing a little tough, but Capt. Kevin put us on fish!  We were doing catch and release, so there wasn’t any pressure to produce, but he did!  We did not get any red’s, but got enough other fish to keep it interesting!!!
If we make it back down here, we’ll be sure to look up capt Kevin again for another good trip out fishing!!!

Trip was incredible, he put on fish early, almost caped out on trout and snagged a few extras (sheep’s head and black drum) in the process. He worked hard when the bite went dead to get us on some aggressive and feeding fish but you can’t make them bite!  Overall had a great day with friends, the captain is friendly, knowledgeable, personable and skilled. I would recommend him to my family and friends and plan to book a future family trip using Kevin as our fishing guide.
