2nd time with Captain Mike, took my 13 year old daughter last December and we had such a great time I wanted to bring my 10 year old son. Last time we fished in the ICW and caught lots of fish and many difference species. This time the seas were calm so Capt Mike asked if we wanted to head out to the ocean, which we did! He has some rock and reef formations mapped out and we spent our half day trip visiting several of them. We caught at least 6 or 7 species including some beautiful snapper, grouper and Black Sea bass. We caught quite a few Blue Runners which are exciting to catch but unfortunately not great to eat. My son caught a Remora which I had never heard of before but was huge! Capt Mike’s boat is state of the art and comfortable, and he handles all the bait and tackle/rod and reels for everyone. He is great with kids, very patient and an excellent teacher. Can’t wait for the next trip!

Awesome time.  When we arrived approximately 15 mins prior to our scheduled time Capt Mike had the boat in the water and was ready to go!  We wasted no time getting to our first spot and within minutes on top of fish and reeling them in.  He didn’t waist time on spots that were not producing a large number of bites and we caught various species lots of snook, snapper, sheep head, coaker, jack crevalle, etc.  All in all it was a great time and I’ll be fishing with Capt Mike and Reel Wicked again soon and I’d highly recommend him to you as well!

Booked a trip for my daughter, her husband, and I as a Christmas gift. And today was Christmas in July! Captain Mike was absolutely amazing! He had us on top of fish in no time, and he was baiting our hooks left and right cause they just kept biting! Captain Mike was knowledgeable, accommodating, and enthusiastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and a more beautiful day on the water! We will absolutely be back to fish with captain Mike again!

By far the best trip we have taken in the last couple of years. We were on fish almost immediately. We ended up keeping 19 but I bet we caught 50 fish! He is knowledgeable, professional and flat out knows hat to fish. We caught lame snapper, mangrove snapper, soap fish, pork chop fish, sheephead, trigger fish and probably more I’m forgetting .You won’t find a nicer captain and he is great with kids. Captain Mike Walsh was a charmer from the moment we met him at Sebastian Yacht Club!
He welcomed us onboard his immaculate vessel, clearly explained the safety aspects and told us about all the wonderful types of fish we could expect to catch over the course of the half day trip.
Captain Mike was kind enough to explain the size thresholds the fish we caught needed to meet before we set off to a nearby fishing spot where he taught us all (with a lot of patience!) how to cast our lines into the water for greatest chance of success.
Our comfort and safety was of the highest concern to Captain Mike at all times, making our trip one to remember on a gorgeous early December day. We learned all about the favourite hang-outs of the fish and every time we caught a fish Captain Mike snapped our moments of glory for us so that we would have the memories forever.
In all we caught 6 species of fish and thought the trip was worth every penny, so much so we gave a 3 figure tip to show our gratitude for this spectacular trip.
