Just Add Water Fishing Charters offers a year-round fishing adventure out of Richmond, BC. Join Captain Rick, who’s been fishing these waters his whole life. He followed his father’s footsteps and knows all there is about the tides, fish movements, and best techniques that work on these fish.
The vessel “Mocean” is a 22’ Hewescraft boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. The boat is deep cleaned after every trip, which is why the captain limits his trips to 1 per day - this way he has enough time to clean and air out. The electronics, high output, quick retrieve downriggers are made by Scotty in Victoria BC. You’ll also find safety gear on the boat, with life vests in all sizes and very comfortable to wear.
All fishing equipment is supplied by the captain and included in the price. He uses only top of the line rods and reels - Islander MR 3’s reels, and the "Sage" rods. In case you’re new to sportfishing, the captain will give you instructions at the beginning of the trip, so you’ll quickly learn to use it.
By using trolling, drift fishing, and bottom fishing, you’ll target a variety of fish species of the area, most notably Chinook Salmon, Halibut, and Lingcod. Not only will the captain let you keep the catch, but he’ll also clean and bag it for you free of charge.
Fresh bottled drinking water will be supplied on every trip. You only need to pack some snacks and purchase your fishing license and a Salmon Conservation tag.
