Deep Horizon Charters LLC is a fishing charter based out of Miami Beach, Florida. Its friendly and skilled crew prides itself in giving the customers a fun-filled day by putting them on the fish. The boat you’ll be using is a restored 26’ Pro Sport center console that can fit up to 4 anglers. It runs on a single 250 HP Yamaha OX66 engine with a maximum speed of 35 knots. The boat also uses 2 Garmin GPS systems, a Garmin fishfinder, and a VHF radio for efficient navigation. The boat features outriggers, snorkeling and spearfishing gear, and a livewell.
There’s also an ice-box where you can store your catch. For any kind of help, feel free to ask the first mate.
The species you’ll try to catch include Red Grouper, Black, and Snowy Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Narrow-barred Spanish Mackerel, Tilefish, and more. To attract them, you can use bottom, deep sea, and drift fishing, as well as spinning. The captain uses both light and heavy tackle. It’s up to you whether you’ll keep or release the fish you catch. Remember that the boat’s family-friendly, so feel free to bring your young ones as well.
The trip will include all the fishing gear, bait, catch cleaning, snacks, and drinks. The captain also covers you for fishing licenses, so there’s nothing you should worry about when packing your stuff.
