Southern Country Charters offers completely private and safe trips out of Destin, FL. Captain Payton and his crew want to make your fishing experience as fun, safe, and memorable as possible! Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn some basics or a more experienced angler looking for a new trophy, you’ll have a day to remember.

Have your perfect day in the "Luckiest Fishing Village in the World!” Each trip consists of hours of fun and action-packed fishing on the Cape Horn fishing boat. This 22’ center console accommodates up to 5 guests. To ensure a comfortable day on the water, the boat also has a toilet, a multimedia system, and a cooler.

You’ll troll for all kinds of fish in season and drop over reefs to catch all kinds of different fish species. Be prepared to take home a cooler full of good eating for you and the whole family! Some of the species you can go after are Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Tuna, Grouper, Cobia, and many more.

The captain fully covers your licenses and fishing equipment. You only need to pack your snacks, drinks, and sun protection. The captain will also clean and fillet your catch free of charge. Keep in mind children have to be at least 10 years old to be allowed on the boat.
