Mad Son Fishing Charters
It’s time to head to Florida and book a fishing trip with Mad Son Fishing Charters. You’ll be fishing with Captain Scott, who has been fishing his whole life. The crew he captains are some of the most knowledgeable around with decades of experience. As these guys take a maximum of 6 anglers out, your trip will be very hands-on. This is just one of the many reasons they stand out from the crowd. From the beginner to the avid angler, you’ll have a great, safe experience aboard the “Mad Son”!
The “Mad Son” is a 38’ Young Brothers (lobster style boat) built in Maine, which was constructed to withstand all the elements that the New England waters could throw at her. Now that she’s down here in South Florida, she has been fully customized for the different types of fishing Mad Son Fishing Charters offers. With her wide beam and deep draft, as well as ample seating both in and out of the sun, she’s one of the most comfortable boats around.
Some of the species you’ll be targeting include Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and many more. You’ll be fishing the ledges, reefs, and wrecks that reach depths of 60–380 feet. Whatever your skill level, there’s a fish out here with your name on it.
Included in the price are top quality rods and reels. The fishing license for the whole group is provided, along with water. You’re welcome to bring other drinks, including beer, and your captain recommends bringing snacks and a packed lunch if you opt for the full day trip. There’s a cooler on board for your provisions to go into. After your trip, the first mate will clean and bag your fish for you and can provide you with a list of places that will cook your catch.
Live bait will need to be purchased for big game fishing. This is $100 for a dozen and can be purchased on the morning of your trip with cash.
Book a trip with Mad Son Fishing Charters for an unforgettable day out alongside a friendly and talented crew!
