The vessel you’ll be using is a 26’ Calcutta catamaran powered by twin 140 HP Suzuki engines. She’s got plenty of room for up to 4 guests and is rigged with high quality gear. This includes an in-depth navigation system, livewell, spearfishing and snorkeling gear, and ice-box.
The captain’s a seasoned veteran who’ll show you the marine life in Hudson’s waters. Your main target is Gag Grouper, but some other species you’ll meet include Hogfish, other Grouper, Snapper, King Mackerel, Flounder, and even Scallop. You’ll fish with light tackle and will be able to troll, spin, and spearfish. You can keep all your catch or you can release it back to the water. Captain Bill welcomes kids, so you can have a great family trip in the nature.
Regardless of your experience, you’re welcome to join and you’re covered for all the gear. All the tackle, lures, and live bait will wait for you on board. Licenses and drinking water are also provided. You’ll only need your own equipment in case you’d like to spearfish and free-dive.
Blue Horizon Charters is happy to guide you along the way. You’re guaranteed for safe and enjoyable trips on the water.
