Captain Quinlyn is truly Jack-of-all-trades in the charter business. Whether you’re interested in inshore, nearshore, or offshore fishing trips, they have the equipment to match the task. Join Captain Quin, who loves spending each day at the sea.
Your boat for the day is a 2019, 22’ Bay Cat, equipped with a bimini top for shade. Powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine, this boat is able to creep through the shallow water on the flats, charge it offshore, comfortably and quickly, and everything in-between. It is the perfect boat to sample the different fisheries that the Gulf Coast has to offer.
If the weather changes last minute, this is the boat that can adapt and convert into an optimal inshore charter, without having to cancel or ruin your trip!
Inshore trips include fishing for Snook, Redfish, Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, Cobia, and Shark. This fishing is done on the flats and along mangrove lines, where it is easy to tuck out of the wind if necessary and provide a comfortable fishing experience for those who may have a tendency to get sea-sick.
Starting in October, correlating with crab season, you can run the crab traps along the beach, to sight-cast for Tripletail.
Nearshore trips take you to wrecks, just a few miles from shore, where the fish are bigger, and thriving on this artificial bottom. The species you can encounter there are nearly limitless and is basically an offshore experience for half the cost. On these wrecks, you can simultaneously fish light, mid, and heavy tackle for a myriad of species, while fishing a handline for the epic 300+lb Goliath Grouper Tug-O-War!
All trips include fishing licenses, tackle, bait, water, music, ice, cold & dry storage, photos, videos, and fish cleaning.
Customize your adventure and let the captain know of your needs and expectations, so she can tailor the perfect experience for your group. Book your adventure with Captain Quinlyn!
